BladeLogic just landed a major contract with General Dynamics and word is that they will be going public in the next few weeks. I’d say they are very ripe for an acquisition.

Also – EMC has internal ties to Bladelogic – it just makes sense.

They’ve been chucking money around like a rap star at the moment. Just invested a large amount of cash into a Russian dev office and a large office in Ireland.
Be interesting to see if they do buy Bladelogic…..interesting to see what Opsware do about it.
